We took our favorite short design and paired it with our breathable, quick drying stretch canvas fabric. We chose to blend merino wool with Elasterell-p Lycra ® T400 ®, which is a polyester fiber with superior durability and shape retention over traditional spandex. These gusseted shorts come equipped with two front pockets, two back pockets, one with zipper closure. Comes in two lengths: 7” and 9” inseam after wash. Please note this garment may experience up to .25" shrinkage in length only.

Short fabric don't last long.

It seems these shorts are being retired. That's probably a good thing. When I first acquired these shorts (brown, grey, and black) I loved them. They were amazing both in fabric and quality of fabric and qualities--as in the quality of merino. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the fabric started to come undone, as if the second layer started to fray near the butt, and under the crotch zipper on two pairs. I'm not sure exactly what caused this, I likely think it was the washing machine.

For the record, I did not wash these very often. Given the quality of merino wool, there is no need. I'd simply steam iron them as needed for wrinkles and let air after being worn and maybe wash them once a month, as I didn't wear them that often.

Great pair of travel shorts, but all in all I'm not sure I could recommend them. They didn't even last a year.

The Wool & Prince pants however have been worn more often and gone through more and they're holding up as well as ever, though!

And the henleys are high quality too. Those shirts are on heavy rotation.

Basically I'd recommend just about anything else from Wool & Prince.

I purchased my size (36 w)and it was too small. The to have an exchange I had to pay for sending the item back, not nice, especially for such an expensive pair of shorts.
