I really like the material on this shirt. It's also not too hot and not too cold.
In terms of fit, the waffle shirt is slightly shorter in length and sleeve than the W&P Interlock Long Sleeve, which fits me perfectly. It's fine when I'm wearing it under a sweater or overshirt, but on it's own it's a hair short.
A great medium weight layer, I've worn this sweater on multiple snowshoe trips. It's comfortable and just heavy enough to keep the cold out, but not so heavy as to make you sweaty when you're moving. As an added bonus (or perhaps the most important part), it looks pretty sharp and my fiancé likes the way it looks on me too.
Sweater looks great! it' an slim fit and the texture of it gives it a nice pop! My wife loved it. It's pretty warm and nice and light! will be great to bring when traveling or to wear out for a date night!
I have been buying beautiful clothing for my husband for decades. Some hits, a few misses, but all the very best I could find, When Patagonia stopped making their merino wool waffle weave base layer, I went on the hunt for something close and found this. My husband, who is a bit of a clothing snob and very picky, told me after wearing this sweater for about a day that it was the best piece of clothing he has ever owned. The sweater is soft, has a beautiful weave, and fits perfectly. The day after he purchased it he was on the website to see what else Wool & Price has to offer. I will definitely be back.
The medium is true to size. 5’8” 166-ish #
There is enough room for layering but has an ease that’s comfortable on its own.
