I love merino wool and polo shirts so I was excited to find Wool & Prince, and ordered this shirt. Unlike other merino wool polo shirts I have, this one looks like a traditional cotton polo which is a nice plus- but the material feels soft and has all the benefits of merino wool, which you probably already know about.
So far, so good. However, the sizing is very weird. I ordered a large and the shoulders and chest seem like the right fit. The arms are a little long coming below mid-bicep but not too bad. However, the length of the shirt is ginormous! A polo shirt should come to "mid-fly", but this is 6" too long. Since about half of a person's height is in the body, this shirt is about the right length for someone who is 7'1"! I should have checked the length of the shirt in the size chart, which is long, but the actual shirt is even longer at 30.5" rather than the stated 29.5".
So the shirt is good to wear tucked but not untucked (as most people would wear a polo shirt). I will likely have the shirt shortened and then it will be good. But it is too much hassle to order more and do this every time, which is a shame.
I would advise anyone considering buying this shirt check the length and expect it to be about an inch longer.

I'm specifically referring to the burgundy and teal versions with the arm stripe and collar deep color... I love that these have some design and style. The material feels very quality and durable as well. Fits great and is super comfortable. A win all the way around. I am almost 100% merino in my wardrobe anymore. I love the feel, but I used to be a fashion horse. I miss more designs and prints being available. Hopefully they will do more!

I am a big fan of the women’s line, so I bought my husband a polo shirt to try the 100 day challenge. He wore it six times and this is what it looks like—major pilling and the hem coming undone in multiple places. I have not washed it yet. The quality of this shirt is really poor. There’s no way it will hold up to 100 days of wear.
