Heavy Crew Neck Sweatshirt

$118.00

This midweight piece is one of our team’s favorite go-to items. It is streamlined enough to be worn as a baselayer, but also can work as a casual sweatshirt layer. We started with our wool/nylon yarn—the same as our tees—so you know it’s soft. And then we bulked up the fabric using an interlock knit structure that keeps its shape and looks crisp after each wear.

We’ll be restocking Black in September. Select your size to be notified when it's available.

I love it.

The wool blend has a fabulous feel and look. It is a rich deep color, much nicer than olive. I saw the comments about the large size being too long, and I do find it long also. But it is not too extreme. I roll up the cuffs when working in the kitchen. The body length may be intended to cover an untucked shirt which it does. Incidentally, the large size is just right for me wearing it over a shirt. If I had planned to wear it over just a t-shirt, medium would have been better.

Quite happy

Elegant, fine material, great fit, not too light, not too heavy

Just get the waffle henley

This would be a perfectly fine shirt if Wool and Prince didn't also offer the waffle henley. Unfortunately, the waffle henley is superior in basically every way. It's comfier, looks better, and strangely enough I find it to be significantly warmer then the crew neck sweatshirt.

Provided you like the way the waffle henley looks on you, my recommendation is to just buy that. I literally never wear this shirt anymore, whereas I've basically lived in 2 of the waffle henleys all winter.

Neck

Would be great but the large neck opening is too wide.

almost great

The "Dorito" on my sweatshirt is slightly asymmetrical/off-center and I'm on the fence about whether it's enough for me to want an exchange. I'm also not a fan of the cuffs; they're reminiscent of what you'd find on a long-sleeve t-shirt instead of a sweater. Interestingly, W&P's waffle henley--arguably a long-sleeve t-shirt--has a sweatshirt cuff. Perhaps the two can switch in future versions.

Fabric is excellent and the sweater is warm without feeling heavy. Fits well.
