A five-pocket do-it-all performance pant, complete with a slim leg and crotch gusset for mobility. We chose to blend merino wool with Elasterell-p Lycra ® T400 ®, which is a polyester fiber with superior durability and shape retention over traditional spandex.  Prepare to wear these in almost any setting, as they are breathable, quick drying, and equally soft as they are strong. Please note this garment may experience up to .5" shrinkage in length only.

Shorts as comfy as the pants!

I was a big fan of the pants, so with a cruise coming up I decided to pull the trigger and purchased the shorts. I wear a 31 and sized up to 32. Wish there was a size 31 but realize a size 30 would’ve been a bit too snug. I bought the 9” shorts and they sit right above the knee. The shorts stretch really well, just like the pants. They handle my sweatiness really well, just like the pants. No complaints about the pockets; some commented they’re too shallow but after a week of wear I haven’t found that to be a problem. I’ve been really pleased with every W&P item I’ve purchased and I’m happy to report this is just another great product in a long line of great products!

Quick review - 2 days in - terrific - need more colors

Having worn them for 2 days straight, I can say these are amazing. Great fit, amazing pocket capacity (without bulging in unseemly ways). Fabric is great (albeit a bit tech-y to the touch and doesn't feel very much like wool). Fit is great and I can easily see myself riding a bike or even rock climbing with them.. I wish they came in more colors - i have the Black, but I feel the grey is far too tech-bro looking. Would appreciate some more neutral colors like khaki, olive, navy blue.

who wears short shorts?

the 7" is SHORT. It works for me, I like to show off my legs. They're also tight. They grab my thigh and need to be readjusted. All worth it for me but I want to caution you if you're unsure. The waist also fits without a belt. They're amazingly stretchy. I can do a full squat and deadlift routine and the shorts move with me through all of it.
