Boxer Briefs

$42.00

These boxer briefs are the result of a collaboration with our travel blogging friend Eytan, of snarkynomad.com. He has tested 30+ different underwear styles, hunted for the perfect pair since 2008, and written a 6,500+ word blog post on the subject. We tapped into this one-man brain trust to help design a pair of wool boxer briefs that checks all the boxes: durable, supportive pouch, fabric retention, legs that stay in place, minimal seams.

We’ll be restocking Modern Red in July. Select your size to be notified when it's available.

Husband loved them ' "Best birthday present."

My husband loved the boxer briefs, and asked how soon he could get "a few more."

Secure but not too tight

These are some truly amazing under garments. I usually wear very loose boxers, as I can’t stand the constriction and leg ride that many boxer briefs I’ve tried in the past cause. These suffer from none of the above stated issues and feel just as comfortable if not more so than the loose boxers I’m used to. They are ideal for hiking and cycling, as they keep everything in place but don’t restrict whatsoever. Further they don’t retain much of any odor and dry quickly. They look nice and simple, no ridiculous branding or patterns. My one minor complaint would be that a longer leg option would be cool but even with the regular length they perform well.

Better than I expected

These are the best fitting and most comfortable underwear I've ever worn (63 years old). I was amazed at how good they felt on my skin, how well they fit and how they almost seem to disappear. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything yet everything stays in place. I was on the margin between M and S. I ordered the S thinking that if they relax a bit they will be right. So far, I think the S will be good. If not, when I stock up on these (this one pair was a trial run) I will bump it up to a M. Either way, this pair I'm wearing right now is good. Real Good!

Forgot I was wearing them

I thought the marketing tagline was just that, but it's true. I really didn't even feel them once they were on. Really comfortable. I tried size M and L, and while both fit, the M was the better. They don't offer a huge amount of support, but they definitely do a better job at keeping things where they should than a pair of boxers.

One minor complaint: I wish there were a longer leg option.

Great material, poor fit

Much like the travel blogger that inspired this product, I have searched far and wide for the perfect travel underwear. I had really hoped I had found it here. The material is wonderful - so soft, feels great against the skin, and dries quickly. But alas, it was not meant to be. The fit just did not work for me. I wear a 38 to 40 so I purchased the XL per the website. They offered very little in the way of support, and the legs were so loose at the end of they day, I had to make sure that I didn’t buy boxers by mistake (I didn’t). I can see that this could be a great product for someone who can find the right fit, but at 42 bucks a pop, I’m not willing to try again. And while the travel blogger’s search may have ended, mine continues (sigh).
