If you’re only going to buy one shirt, make it this one.

We were tired of the dry cleaners, so we decided to make a better button-down. Relying on the tried-and-true benefits of merino wool, we designed these shirts to be worn more and washed less. Our founder wore his for 100 days straight, just to prove the performance of merino (side note, you can earn a free shirt doing the same).

Replace your entire closet of shirts with just a couple of ours. They’re better for you, your wallet, and the environment. They’re just better.

Great shirts, but not as durable or wrinkle resistant as claimed

I love the shirts. They are comfortable, very odor resistant, and stain resistant. However, the shirts are more expensive, by multiples, beyond what I normally spend. I bought in for the above reasons, but especially the durability. That is the feature that failed. After a few months of ownership, a small hole wore through near the cuff. This is disappointing for a shirt that is this expensive.

Great Material but collar was larger than previous shirts

Love these shirts! Previously bought a 130 button down and 170 button down Large Slim size and the collars fit decently around my neck - a little looser than I like but the 170 especially would work okay for wearing ties. The collar of the grey 130 button down, also large slim, that I just bought however was quite a bit larger and won't work for wearing ties with it. Going to try a Medium Tall.

Great Find!

I love this shirt! I wore it right out of the box and have worn it 3 more times since. It looks as though it's never been worn, no wrinkles and no stink. I don't know when I'll have to wash it.. The fabric is softer than what I expected and it's about the weight of a cotton Oxford. It's a little roomy but wearable either tucked in or as an overshirt with a merino wool long sleeve layering piece underneath. Rather than a M slim I'll order a S next time. I'll check back in after the first washing.

Won’t be my only one!

I’ve only worn it once so can’t comment on how well it holds up. But my experience with Merino wool is very positive if treated correctly.

I wore it on a Florida day with a high of 85 and Sunny. Hot to many people, but not Floridians. It wicked away sweat immediately and kept me cool. I hung it on the AC Florida room overnight and it was like I had not worn it. No wrinkles, no odor.

I wash my cotton shirts after every wear; have to. But my light weight wool dress pants can be worn multiple times between dry cleaning. I’m thinking this shirt is the same.

As to comfort. It’s not cotton. Nor silk. You will feel it more until you become used to it. I wear merino wool T-shirts all the time so I did not notice the way it felt. But it would disingenuous to say it wears like cotton. And many would not wear it on such a warm day.

But I’ve worn wool dress pants for 20 years on the hottest Florida days and can’t stand cotton due to the swamp-butt issues. With wool you stay dry and cool.

Very scratchy; a little big

The overall quality of this shirt is pretty great. The stitches are well done, the fabric is smooth, there are no loose threads. I was really looking forward to wearing it. Until I put it on. This is the most scratchy merino wool I’ve ever worn. I have quite a few pieces of 100% merino: t-shirts, boxers, tights. They are all slightly scratchy at first but become unnoticeable after a few minutes of wearing. I wore this shirt for a few hours and it got worse the longer I had it on. I plan to wash it to see if that helps, since I can’t return it (it was a clearance item). Maybe I got a bad shirt. Maybe the pattern I bought was on clearance because the fabric is more scratchy than others. Whatever the case, I don’t think I’ll be getting a second one.

The sleeves are too long for me, but a tailor can shorten them. Overall the fit was fine, if a little big.
