So, my wife bought a Wool& dress and started the 100 day challenge. I was intrigued by the idea of wearing the same thing for 100 days, so I thought I'd try it out as well. Now let me tell you something, I've been living in this shirt for like a week straight now and I've got a few thoughts for you.
First of all, I'm going to say that the quality of the shirt is second to none. It is a very well made shirt and fits comfortably and works for everyday active use. I hike and/or skateboard with my Australian Shepherd everyday and have two small children, so this shirt has to hold up to some serious activity AND IT DOES. I still have yet to wash it -- all I do is hang it up at night -- and it does not have the faintest scent of an odor on it. Not even my EveryManJack deodorant smell (which surprised me!).
I must admit, wearing wool vs. cotton took a little bit of getting used to. I am very sensitive to how my clothes feel (I was that kid whose shoes were always too tight or too loose) and this is a little bit itchier than the cotton shirts I am used to. That said, after a few days, I didn't even notice it anymore, rendering it a nonissue for me.
Finally, the aspect of having a single shirt that I can throw on everyday as my go to shirt brings a simplicity to my morning that I had been craving. This purchase opened the door for me to "addition by subtraction" when it comes to my wardrobe. I plan to pare down and replace my whole wardrobe with just a few of these high quality clothing items from Wool&Prince over the next year or so. I thought I was only getting a shirt, but they made a lifelong customer out of me!
