Very Happy With Tee

I was so happy when I saw this color available. I've wanted something this sharp, unique, and seasonal for a while and W&P's merino wool crew neck tee was already my favorite tee in my wardrobe (bought the white previously). The fit is relatively standard. I'm between a "M" and "L", and the "M" I purchased is on the more fitted side of comfortable in the shoulders/chest (like I prefer it) but not too tight in the midsection. The fabric feels and performs amazing, and doesn't shrink over time. Highly recommended

Most comfortable tees ever

I am a stickler for tees and I have never purchased a merino tee because of the price. I decided to take the plunge and purchased 4 crew neck tees. I went with the sizing guide and measured one of my favorite tees. Perfect fit with without any restrictions when moving . Very comfortable to the skin. I have many wool jackets, Jac-shirts, and Pendletons, now I can wear merino tees with them without feeling clammy and wet when I wear cotton tees. I will be purchasing other colors for sure.

Natural white merino tee

It’s fairly difficult to find a white-ish merino tee, but Wool and Prince made it happen. It contains a higher concentration of merino than similar offerings, and consequently repels odors similar to 100% merino shirts. It matches everything, making it a no brainer as part of a capsule wardrobe. The fit is relatively long and slim. I had to size up to accommodate chest and shoulder width, but did need to then get the shirt hemmed and sleeves shortened a little. Totally worth it, as the shirt is otherwise exactly what I was looking gor

Great shirt...cut, color, fabric

Got 2 of these shirts for my husband in teal and also blue. I've been expounding on the benefits of light weight wool shirts for years and now he's "converted". HeLOVES them. Great trim cut, but also long enough. Knit is what I'd describe as "mid-weight". It's NOT heavy so can be worn as a layer, but it's light-weight enough to not feel at all bulky or too warm. But if you're looking for a weight that's also good in warm weather, this might be be too hot.

Believe the hype

This is a fairly long term review as I’ve worn these shirts for the better part of 6-8 months. Ranging from everyday casual wear to, multi day festivals, backpacking/hiking from the sequoias to Death Valley and Zion, fishing in Alaska, you name it. These shirts are exactly as they were out of the box. Just drape them over a chair or tree branch at night and it’s good to go. No smells, no wrinkles, dog hair/cat hair doesn’t stick like cotton. Excellent heating/cooling properties. I am a wool junkie now. I don’t know why anyone wears cotton in 2022. The only time I wear cotton shirts anymore is if I’m working and I don’t care if I get paint or drywall mud etc. on it.

I have been on several week plus adventures and only usually go through 2 of these shirts. The last trip I did I pretty much changed shirts just because I brought it and wanted to show it some love too. Just do some spot cleaning if you drop something on it and hang it up at the end of the day. When I do wash it, I hand wash it with a WOOL FRIENDLY detergent, hand wring it out (gently) and dry it flat on a drying rack. Takes all of 5 minutes. I don’t hang it on a hanger to dry or otherwise, as I don’t want to stretch out the neck. Never had any issues, just as a precaution. I NEVER dry it in a machine, I always keep a very close eye on what goes into the washer and dryer.

The price. Yeah it’s expensive. It’s wool, but if you have to be dressed everyday might as well be comfortable and enjoy the many benefits of this amazing fabric. You can pack less, wash less, stink less, sunburn less, and spend less, ultimately, than buying garbage shirt after garbage shirt that breaks down and doesn’t perform near as well as these shirts. As a former active duty Marine and avid outdoorsman I know the importance of buying quality, FUNCTIONAL clothing, and these shirts are my go to whether it’s taking the kids to school or fishing for halibut in Alaska. If I had to complain about anything it would be that I wish it was all made in the US, at least it’s not china….., and wool and prince doesn’t offer military discounts. I usually try to support companies that check those boxes. That being said I have amassed a nice collection of wool and prince shirts, underwear, button downs, and they are all fantastic. Keep up the good work guys.
