I’d like to start the new year with a big thank you to our customers. You are awesome! Many of you have been with us since the beginning and through this quarterly update, have shared your wonderful—sometimes crazy—ideas with me and the team. We're fortunate to have such a committed group of customers.
Let's get right into new product.
Woven shirt restocks and new colorways are available now. Aside from two beautiful new plaids, the exciting news here is that we now have an ivory white shirt! For those of you who don't know the challenges of dyeing wool white, we'll save you the chemistry lesson and just tell you that wool is naturally off-white (see our tee), and can't be dyed true white. By blending 52% wool with 48% SUPIMA® cotton, we've developed our whitest fabric to date.
We also have a lot of great knits coming your way in late February and early March. The styles pictured below are all in our 78% wool, 22% nylon jersey knit fabric. For the 100% merino purists, we do have 100% polos and tees arriving in April.
In addition to frequent restocks throughout the year, we have exciting new styles in the works: five-pocket pants, gusseted shorts, joggers, denim jackets, and full zip fleeces.
Let us know what styles you’re most looking forward to in the comment section below.
With some of the new plaid button-downs, we’re testing plastic-free packaging.
We’ve learned that if we can't afford to launch a style in both regular and slim fits, we should wait until we can do so. (ie our 2019 wool linen collection only had slim fit. This year we'll have slim, regular, and tall fit in the linen.)
We attempted an escape room and despite not making it all the way through in the allotted time, we're hooked and would recommend it for any small team.
Our founder, Mac, loves running this company. Each quarter Mac gives a personal update of where we’ve been and where we’re heading. It’s a chance for customers to provide feedback and suggestions to the team. After all, Wool&Prince is the company it is today because of feedback from people like you. As always, let us know your thoughts or questions in the comment section below, and Mac or one of our team members will get back to you.
