Everyday Merino

2019 At A Glance

2019 was a big year for us.

We released more styles than ever before venturing into lots of new territory. During fall, in an effort to reduce our environmental impact, we launched our Renewed Program. We refurbished product that was deemed “unsellable” and sold it marked down on our site. In February we released our first ever wool chinos, providing you with a casual option for wool pants.

We shared our five day challenge—wearing the same button-down for five days straight—and other customers took it on in their own lives and sent us their photos.

Just before summer, we announced our brand new wool-linen shirts, the perfect warm weather way to wear wool. The shirts sold out quickly, so we restocked them just a few months later.

We were growing out of our homey office-showroom hybrid space, so we expanded our showroom to a suite down the hall. We continued with our open weekday hours, started accepting virtual appointments, and hired a sales associate for weekend hours. We held two sample sales, and three events in the new space.

In the middle of summer we released our second wave of naturally dyed merino tees in three colors: Buckthorn Green, Indigo, and Iron Gray. We did a Father's Day photoshoot with one of our favorite families in Portland, The Vogels. And finally in August, we partnered with Tortuga Backpacks and onebag traveled to San Francisco for a photoshoot. And only a few months after our first style of pants dropped, we offered up two more styles, bringing a new stretch fabric and slimmer fit.

Throughout the year we expanded our women's line, with new Safari, Fitted, and Linen shirts. Finally, by the time the cold arrived, we introduced our new waffle knit henley and sweatshirt—two of our heaviest options to get you through the winter.

We expanded our button-down collection, adding new styles to our 210 (midweight) collection. We experimented with a few brushed flannel Utility Shirts, as well as more traditional Utility Shirts woven with Tollegno wool. And we brought back the herringbone, this time in blue. We fashioned it into a Utility Shirt as well as a Button-Down.
